Current River Ceader Grove to Round Springs 25 miles - sunny & warm. 143 people - 65 canoes - river clean up - Drove Pangles car - camped at Ackers Ferry Friday & Saturday nights with the Lawrence Girl Scouts. My partner was Linda Lassman. John showed up at Welsh Springs.

Swan Creek 12 miles - Bridge at AA and took out at Bridge just above the lake.sunny and in 60s With Becky Pangle and with Remples. Lots of tricky spots water was a little low. Swamped the canoe at low water ford. Canoe filled by water running over it.

Bryant Creek 17 miles Based camped at Hodgens Mill Went down with Mrs Remple - Becky Pangle and Lee Hoffman. Rained Friday night and was cloudy all day Saturday. Becky and I swamped while getting int he canoe The water was high and the trip was fast - out by 3 PM - temp in the 60s

Meramac River 16 miles upper 70s and 32 sunday morning. Slow river had to pattle a lot. Had generator trouble but got it fixed in time for shuttle - Saw Jeff in Columbia Friday night. Got to Fisherman Springs at 1:30 am. Colors were not very brilliant. Stopped at Heaths on the way back.

Buffalo River Ponca to Pruitt 31 miles - Weather in general was sunny and warm - upper 70°s - light rain Friday afternoon. Hedges was leader - Adelaide and I slept at Hedges house Wednesday - rattle snake killed. On river by 10:30 Thursday camped at Big Bluff & hiked trail Friday camped above Erby Ford and hiked to High Meadow Hollow - river rose Friday night - tent had to be moved - Lenord Herman & I went empty.to Pruitt to get cars. I floated again with Elizabeth Rogers from Erby to Pruitt
