My
Mother and Father, Adelaide and Dr. Will R. Eubank, Were not canoers
but would drive down of some the the Thanksgiving trips and help
prepare the food the the Thanksgiving dinner. On a
short section of this trip the Hedges Margaret and Harold, took
me as
a passenger. (Harold was the President of O.W.W.C. for many years)
- My early years canoeing depended on finding partners or parents
that would take me.
Raytown High School had a Cave Club that also went canoeing on may of there trips. After I went to Ottawa University and had my own car and canoe I went canoeing as often as possible. |
